The 12.20% Season Award Candidates

Had dreams… Two of ’em. Both had my father in ’em. It’s peculiar. I’m older now then he ever was by twenty years. So, in a sense, he’s the younger man. Anyway, the first one I don’t remember too well but, it was about meetin’ him in town somewheres and he give me some money. I think I lost it.

The second one, it wasn’t like we was back in the old days. But there was my father sitting across from me at the breakfast table. His balding head partially obscured by the New York Post; the front page a picture of Alex Rodriguez soy facing in a sea of needles with the phrase “A FRAUD” shown below him. He puts down the paper and says “son things ain’t how they used to be. You used to be able to call in to WFAN to Mike and the Mad Dog and tell them how it was. Giants weren’t establishing the run, and you’d be damned if you didn’t let nobody in particular know that you knew how to fix it. But now you kids don’t need to call on the phone to do that. You can post it on your phone. Never thought I could change my ways, but son if Francesa can maybe I can too. If only you can show me.” Then he picked the paper back up and I woke up.

I decided at that moment I would use any free time to post instead of learning another language or do socialism. Anyways here ya go.
